Summary:
Performs all duties as a community paramedic while demonstrating excellence in patient care and providing a role model for others. Meets expectations for operational performance measures.

Responsibilities


Responsibilities:
*Performs all duties as a community paramedic while demonstrating excellence in patient care and providing a role model for others. Meets expectations for operational performance measure
* Performs home visits, assessments, lab draws, education, and treatments per protocols and contract requirements.
*Assists in the orientation of new personnel. Participates in ongoing review and development of best practices. Actively participate in educational offerings such as classroom sessions.
*Maintains a professional relationship with ancillary EMS support personnel such as with individuals within other EMS agencies, hospital staff and other departments with AAS to provide cooperation, problem solving, and communication.
*Perform other functions as required.
*Reports directly to Deputy Chief of Specialized Services

Qualifications


Other information:
*Paramedic experience in a high volume system required
*AAS Community Paramedic Training must be completed within 1 year of hire
*Must comply with and pass state screenings required for caregivers per current HR process
*Valid Drivers License
*BLS
*ACLS
