* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation-Other Source

Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required. Completion of the formal Emergency Medical
Technicians-Intermediate (EMT-I) course is required. Current license issued by the State of New Mexico Emergency Medical Service Bureau, as an Emergency Medical
Technician-Intermediate (EMT-I), is required. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required. . Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written
instructions is required. Completion of the formal Emergency Medical Technicians-Intermediate (EMT-I) course is required. Current license issued by the State of New Mexico
Emergency Medical Service Bureau, as an Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate (EMT-I), is required. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.
The Emergency Department requires a current EMT-I license 1-2 years' experience preferred but not required. Receives on-the-job training and competency verification to perform
primary functions. Completion of a PHS Non-Licensed Assistive Personnel course or similar training required prior to entering classification. Formal medical technician or
military training preferred but not required. Maintains annual current department competencies and Employee Health Requirements.

 

 

Summary: EMT I
Maintain and operate an emergency medical vehicle in the safe transportation of emergency and non-emergency for Albuquerque Ambulance Service of Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Provide patient care within the EMT I scope of practice and licensure on scene of an emergency or non-emergency call. Attend on at least 50% of all non-emergency pre-scheduled transports appropriate to scope of practice and licensure.

Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required. Completion of the formal Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic course is
required. Current license, issued by the State of New Mexico Emergency Medical Service Bureau, as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, is required. Current certification in
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required. Current, valid New Mexico driver's license is required. Ability to type 20 wpm preferred. Basic MS Windows computer skills
preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older with a driving record insurable per PHS policy.

 

 

Summary: EMT B

Perform all functions of patient evaluation and assessment within the New Mexico approved scope of practice. Perform patient care procedures and interventions as dictated by the New Mexico scope of practice. Responsible for the delivery of quality care to patients under varied conditions.
